Due to an exciting leadership opportunity, we are seeking an outstanding educator to join our leadership team as our Director of Religious Studies (1MU) and Year 1 Class Teacher. There may be an opportunity for the successful candidate to apply for the Junior Team Leader position(1MU) as well. Applicants must hold Full Category One or Category Two Registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.

St Anthony’s (Pahiatua) Catholic School, is seeking a vibrant, experienced, and collaborative full-time fixed term teacher to join our dedicated team in a middle or junior school classroom role in 2027, while our current teacher is on study leave. We are looking for an engaging educator who has experience working with junior or middle primary students, bringing energy, passion, and high-quality instruction to our learning environment.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional who builds positive rapport with students, communicates effectively with whānau, and works collaboratively alongside our supportive teaching staff.
Applicants must hold Full Category One or Category Two Registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Staff are expected to recognise and respect the school’s Catholic special character and be actively involved in the total life of the school, in a manner which respects the religious instruction given and religious observances practiced within the school.
