Nau mai Haere mai. At St Anthony's School, we are proud to offer a welcoming, nurturing Catholic education for students from Year 1 to Year 8.
Located in the heart of Pahiatua, we are a close community that belongs to the St Brigid’s Parish.
Founded over 100 years ago by the Brigidian Sisters, we cherish our rich history and the values that have shaped us. Our Catholic Character is at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to teaching our LIFE values: Love, Integrity, Fortitude, and Excellence. These values guide both our teaching and how we live our daily lives. We strive to provide a modern, well-resourced learning environment that prepares students for a bright future.
Our dedicated staff are passionate about delivering up-to-date teaching and learning experiences, while modeling the values that define our school. St Anthony’s is not just a school – it’s a vibrant community. Our whānau play an active role in their children’s learning, and we work together to provide the best possible educational experiences.
We would love for you to come and see what makes our school so special. We look forward to meeting you and sharing the journey of learning and growth. Come and be part of our story!

Principal Marg Hyslop

Due ot the severe weather warnings, St Anthony's School will be closed tomorrow - Monday 16 February 2026.
If you require any further information, please contact Principal Marg Hyslop 0273484874
Please see the message from Karlene regarding the cancellation of touch this afternoon. Make sure you notify the school office of any after school arrangement changes for your child/chidlren - especially for buses.
As most of you know I do not like to cancel events. Saying that, there are huge storm warnings due to hit our area around 3-4pm today.
So I am going to cancel today's touch rugby. As soon as I've done this, of course it will be perfect.
We will move onto Week 2 of the draw next week.
Stay warm and dry.
Please find a copy of the fr tom McKenna Class Newsletter attached that was sent home in hard copy last week.
