Due to the current updated severe weather warnings St Anthony's School will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 21.4.26.
Please note that all Go Bus School Services for the morning and afternoon tomorrow 21.4.26 are cancelled due to terrential rain, saturated ground, flooding and road closures.
Given the weather warnings a notification about school will come out later this evening once we have further information.
The ORANGE heavy rain warnings are in place for today 20 April until midnight tomorrow 21 April for Wellington, Tararua Range and Kapiti Coast.
As the rain is currently pouring down, parents may like to collect their children directly from the classrooms just before 3pm (i.e. 2.55pm) for today. We will bring remaining students out to the steps in front of the office (as per normal for wet days) and parents can collect their chidlren from there.
A reminder:
We look forward to seeing everyone back at school for the start of Term 2 tomorrow, 20 April 2026, with students wearing their winter uniform. Please refer to the school website under the uniform tab for further details on this.
Word & Worship focussing on ANZAC will be in the hall at 9.05am tomorrow, 20 April, all welcome.
Orders for the cookie dough (fundraiser) from the Friends of St Anthony's School, will be availble for collection on Thursday, 23 April 2026, afternoon (from the staffroom).

Easter Drama
We warmly invite all school and parish families to our dramatisation of the Easter story at St Brigid’s Church on Thursday, 2 April, at 1.30pm, our last day of term. Each child is involved in this drama, which tells the story of the last days of Jesus’ life on earth - Holy Week.
